Hi Everyone. We have one more rehearsal before our concert on Saturday December 13th. The concert is at Ashbrook at 2 pm so our call time to be ready to warm up and do some quick spot checking of the music will be at 1 pm unless it’s announced otherwise. Below are important notes from Cheryl.

It’s our Dress Rehearsal this week, OH MY how time has flown. Everyone please be patient as we work thru the dance numbers going on before our rehearsal starts, and the first 3 pieces we will play with them. We will likely do each one twice.
Also please recognize that the “marley flooring” used by the dancers will be down, across the front of the stage. Please try to stay off of it if possible, and move around the back of the band getting from one side to the other. If it can’t be avoided, please walk gently across it, being aware of muddy shoes, dragging feet, etc. And they may be using the green rooms.
Dancers:
Spacing rehearsals at Ashbrook Theatre for Feuerfest Polka, Reverie, & A Childhood Remembered, 6:15pm-7:00pm (dancers should arrive at Ashbrook at 6pm).
– Run-through the CCB Holiday Concert dance pieces with the band, 7:00pm-7:30pm
Our 2 vocal numbers with Quinny and Ziva (who are also dancers) will follow behind that. We’ll then run the rest of the concert. This may make us a bit later when finishing, so please be prepared to stay up to 9PM.
This is our dress rehearsal, but please don’t come dressed in your white shirts/black pants. It’s a regular evening and likely to be very wet I hear. Please be safe driving and watch out for localized flooding.
Holiday Party: “Save the Date: The Corvallis Community Band will hold its Annual Holiday Party at The Corvallis Community Center on Monday, December 15th from 6-8:30pm. Music will be performed by several small groups from 6-7pm and food will be served at 6:30-7:30pm. Pizza and cake will be provided by the band, however, if you are bringing multiple people a $5 donation is encouraged. A white elephant gift exchange will occur near the end of the event. If you wish to participate, bring a funny gift item (under $10) from around your home wrapped in pretty paper to put into the pool. Please RSVP if you can. We hope to see everyone there!”
